Welcome to the Mauritius chapter of the International Women Artists Federation (IWAF) — where creativity is not only celebrated, but also mobilized for social impact.
In October 2025, we proudly host the IWAF International Gathering under the theme “Waves of Interconnectedness” — a reflection of our belief in art’s power to transcend borders and create lasting bonds.
At IWAF Mauritius, we believe that art is more than expression — it is a catalyst for connection, healing, and transformation. Rooted in a history of social work and art therapy, our local collective brings a unique approach to IWAF’s global mission.
President Angel Angoh, serving for the 2025–2026 term, guides IWAF Mauritius in a vibrant movement that fuses artistic excellence with purposeful engagement.
By partnering with communities, NGOs, and schools, IWAF Mauritius builds meaningful connections between art and everyday life, transforming creativity into a vehicle for social change.
