Where stories become sculptures, protests become paintings, and women’s voices fill the gallery walls
Hosted at Mauritius’s premier cultural venue, the Caudan Arts Centre, the IWAF 2025 main exhibition is the heart of IWAF 2025. It will present the works of over 60 women artists from around the world.
Through diverse media — from painting and sculpture to installation — artists respond to the theme “Waves of Interconnectedness.” The exhibit is open to the public, with special guided tours and artist meetups.
Participants will take part in immersive sessions that include conference discussions, art and music therapy workshops, and creative activities with children from different schools and with local women in the community.
IWAF continues to play an essential role in showcasing the talent of women artists around the world, using art as a powerful vehicle for social change and cultural connection.
